Why do we say, you can find "Better Sleep for Less" here and only here?
REASON ONE: We never inflate OUR prices to create phony "sales".
Our EVERYDAY low prices are the same as or lower than the breathlessly hyped "30, 40, 50 or even so-called 60% off sales" of many of our competitors.
This is how the phony sale gimmick works.
The retailer buys Product X for $500. He wants to make $500 profit on it - so he decides to charge you the customer $1000. That's straightforward enough. But here's where less than straightforward retailers get you. Instead of advertising Product X for $1000, he tells you his REGULAR price for it is $2000 and that he'll sell it to you for HALF OFF. You get excited by what seems to be an absolutely unbelievable deal. And that's exactly what it is. A deal you shouldn't believe.
You see, the retailer never expects you to buy the $2000 Product X.
Time and again, we've had folks come in after having purchased a mattress somewhere else "on sale". They are horrified by how much more the "on sale" price was than our EVERYDAY price for the very same mattress . Sadly, this comes as no surprise to us. We shop our competitors regularly so we know what they're doing with their prices. If you have the time and energy, go ahead - shop our competitors, too. You will be shocked. And in the end, after SHOPPING there, you'll BUY here.

... you could simply come here first and save yourself - not only a lot of money - but also all that trouble. We really are the best deal in town. We wouldn't say it if it weren't true.
Phoney sales gimmicks. We don't like it's when that sort of thing is done to us - so we won't do it to you. It's just not how we choose to business.
REASON TWO: Instead of spending inordinate amounts of YOUR money on OUR advertising, we simply leave that money where it belongs - in YOUR pocket.
Advertising is a good thing. It's how businesses let customers know what we have that you need. But advertising doesn't come cheap.
Did you know that the average tv spot costs $X to produce and broadcast? And you know who pays for that in the end? You do. Businesses pass that cost along by raising the prices they charge.
We choose to limit our advertising budget to the barest minimum - a few inserts in the newspaper, the occasional radio ad. That sort of thing. We simply won't do television. It's far too expensive.
So. Instead of spending your dollars on annoying tv spots telling you what a good deal we offer, we simply offer you a good deal. Instead of throwing away money on wasteful advertising, we take those dollars and offer free delivery and free sales tax and just plain lower prices every day.
